Tuscan Two-Step, Mol Victorious – 2010 Tour of Qatar Stage 6

Francesco Chicchi (Liquigas-Doimo) won today's final stage of the 2010 Tour of Qatar, squeezing past American Tyler Farrar (Team Garmin-Transitions) and Team Saxo Bank's Juan Jose Haedo at the line on the Doha Corniche.

The less heralded of the two Liquigas-Doimo sprinters at the Tour of Qatar, the other being Daniele Bennati, who in the process of rounding out his own form sacrificed himself for his Tuscan compatriot, Chicchi would capture his second victory in three days.

"It's usually harder for me to win high-speed sprints like this but Bennati sacrificed his chances to help me and I can only thank him," Chicchi later told Cyclingnews.
