Liquigas-Cannondale Peter Sagan’s Cannondale Supersix HI MOD – 2011 Amgen Tour of California – Bikes, Personalities and Scenes
Admittedly, as a long-time Cannondale owner I was always skeptical of the aluminum frame maker's foray into carbon. But just as the company pushed the edges and perfected the manufacturing of aluminum bicycles, so too have they made their way in the lightweight world of carbon.
Today, we take a closer look at Cannondale SuperSix HI-MOD ridden by Stage 5 winner, Liquigas-Cannondale's Peter Sagan.
With a frame coming in at 890 grams, Sagan's SuperSix HI-MOD is kitted with a mixture of SRAM Red and FSA components.
Cannondale's Hollowgram SL cranks and bottom bracket are outfitted with a Liquigas-Cannondale team edition SRM powermeter, and the bicycle is topped off with Fizik's popular Aliante saddle, Speedplay pedals, and the latest edition of Mavic's Cosmic Carbone wheelset treated with Exalith.
