Peanut Butter & Co. TWENTY12 for Nature Valley Grand Prix

Following a successful run at the 2011 Mt. Hood Cycling Classic, where the team would place four riders in the top ten of the General Classification, including a first and third place finish by Kristin Armstrong and Kristin McGrath, respectively, the ladies of Peanut Butter & Co.TWENTY12 will take on a stacked field at the Nature Valley Grand Prix in Minnesota from June 15th to 19th.

The action kicks off tomorrow with the St.Paul Riverfront Time Trial at 8:30am. The opening event, billed as "a no frills slug fest," will once again be devoid of aerodynamically enhanced time trial specific bikes. Although the riders will race over 200 miles throughout L'Etoil du Nord this week, the 6.1 mile opening time trial can prove decisive. The time trial will be followed by the St.Paul Criterium, a course full of twists, turns and brick roads. The women's action will be at 6:15pm.

Giana Roberge will be in the directors seat, while soigneur, Emily Zell, and mechanic, Vincent Gee, will make sure the team and their equipment are in top form.
