Quick Step’s Sylvain Chavanel’s French-Coloured EMX-5 Frame – 98th Tour de France
For tomorrow “le 14 Juillet“ Sylvain Chavanel has received a special gift. An EMX-5 frame with new graphics in the colours of the French flag, bearing his Nickname, “La Machine”, which perfectly describes Sylvain when he's on the attack, that perfect style of his that doesn't betray any sign of fatigue, even when he's at maximum exertion. This trait, and Sylvain's innate niceness makes him one of the most esteemed riders in the group.
“I'd like to thank the staff at Eddy Merckx Cycles and the team for this awesome surprise," said Chavanel. “I really appreciate the efforts they put in that allowed me to celebrate my country's national holiday. Even these small details show how united this team is. I hope I can give them and my fans some satisfaction in the next few days, from the s-addle of this two-wheeled jewel."
